Ashok Shah
Senior General Manager, Faber Medi-Serve, Malaysia

Ashok is a management professional with over 25 years of working experience with Multinational Engineering Service Companies in the Oilfield and Healthcare Industries. He was the Founder, Co-promoter and the Managing Director of SSP Medical Technologies, (SSP) a Clinical Equipment and Technologies Support Services company. From a modest beginning the company grew to be Malaysia’s leading company providing services to over 90 Hospitals and Healthcare Institutions in Malaysia and the Middle East over the last 10 years. The company developed a niche by providing tailor made solutions to meet each customers’ unique requirements. Company has pioneered several innovations to enhance the customer services like predictive part stocking models, state of the art maintenance management MIS systems, intensified training and certifications on Medical Devices Safety and Risk Management processes, etc. SSP entered into a strategic Alliance with the Faber Medi-Serve Group, a part of Malaysian Public Listed Infrastructure Group specializing in Integrated Facility (including housekeeping services) Management Services to enhance SSP’s existing resources and to position it strategically to secure maximum growth in the next millennium.

Faber Medi-Serve Group provides effective support to Hospitals’ efforts in securing Accreditation and ISO Certification by implementing effective Facility Management Processes incorporating high levels of safety and risk management necessary in a high quality hospital operation. Ashok has presented to a number of Seminars on various topics relating to Engineering Support Services including Effective Engineering Support for Accreditation, Costs Effective Engineering Services, Patient Safety and Engineering Services Support.

Ashok is currently working as a Senior General Manager with Faber Medi-Serve Group providing support to guide the company through its next phase of growth with the objective of extending the reach of the company’s services in the Asia Pacific Region through improvement in Customer satisfaction and superior quality of services
