Ms. Susanna LEE is currently an Associate Professor (Nursing Practice) at the School of Nursing, University of Hong Kong, she received her nursing training in Hong Kong and midwifery training in United Kingdom. She attained her Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Hons) in 1998 and Master in Nursing in 2004 both in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also attained her Fellowship of the Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing and Fellowship of Hong Kong College of Nursing and Health Care Management in 2012.

Ms. LEE has practiced more than 30 years in clinically nursing particularly in Paediatrics in Hong Kong and Australia. Besides, Ms. LEE also shouldered wide range of responsibilities and leadership role in nursing services and health care management.  She was the former Chief Nursing Officer of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA) Head Office (HO), she oversaw nursing services operations, nursing specialty development at a corporate level especially in community nursing services, nurse clinics and managed corporate wide projects for hospitals under Hospital Authority in Hong Kong.

Over the year, Ms. LEE contributed tremendously in the professional development in nursing.  Internationally, she was the Founding President of The Asia Pacific Paediatric Nurses Association (APPNA).  She was instrumental in setting up The APPNA in 2012 which comprises of 8 country/region Member Associations including Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.  She is also the Honorary Adviser of the Chinese Nursing Association – Paediatric Nursing Chapter.  Locally, Ms. LEE is the Vice President of Hong Kong Academy of Nursing and President of the Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing. She is also the Chairman of Examination Sub-committee of Registered Nurse (Sick Children) of Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
