Senior Vice President – International Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services


Mr. Buranut Limjitti is the Senior Vice President – International Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations of BDMS (Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public co., Ltd.).  He is responsible for promoting BDMS in the international area through marketing, advertising and PR projects.       
BDMS is the largest hospital network in Thailand and ranks the 2nd largest hospital network in the world by market capitalization.  BDMS has 6 brands of hospitals and operates 45 hospitals with total beds of 8,031.  Those 6 hospital brands are Bangkok Hospital, Samitivej Hospital, BNH Hospital, Phyathai Hospital, Paolo Hospital and Royal Hospital.  BDMS also invests in pharmaceutical, laboratory, retail drug stores, health insurance and other complimentary businesses to healthcare as a strategic investment. 
Mr. Buranut joined BDMS in 2014 as Vice President –International Marketing, overseeing the international marketing of BDMS hospitals.  His main task was to conduct business development in new markets as well as to maintain the growth of the acquired markets.  The expansion of BDMS increased the number of hospitals, new specialized centers and also beds; it requires more international patients from more diversified segments into the network.  He and his team has identified the potential customers segments, accessed and developed the business into the BDMS network.  Currently BDMS is serving more than 2.5 million international patient visits per annum and those customers are more diversified than the other players. 
In 2016, Mr. Buranut was promoted to be Senior Vice President – International Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations.  With the additional responsibilities in market communication, he has initiated and taken the lead to promote BDMS brand into the global market.  Using BDMS’s four unique pillars; extraordinary treatments, advanced technology, exceptional services and excellent knowledge, he and his team use BDMS’s unique propositions and present it to the public, individuals and corporates through global partners such as CNN, world class hospitals, international insurance groups, multi-national corporations, and various business partners across all area. 
Responsible for international marketing of BDMS, Buranut has more than 25 years of experience in international arena from airlines and travel IT industries.  He started his career with Thai Airways International on Global Distribution Department and was in the first team to start up the airlines well-known frequent fliers program; “Royal Orchid Plus”. 
Then when he was working with Bangkok Airways, he was responsible for Sales & Marketing of China and North America markets and also part of the team to build up the airlines’ successful e-commerce system; “Bangkokair.com”.
