Regional Director of Readiness and Business Continuity at Al Dhafra Hospitals. Dr. Mohamed has 27 years of extensive medical, emergency and crisis management experience. He holds a bachelor degree in Medicine from Damascus University and obtain his specialty in Public Health and Epidemiology from the World Health Organization. Also, Master Degree in International Business from Wollongong Univ.-Australia. He is an international certified Healthcare and medical quality professional (CPHQ and CMQ)
Dr. Karkoukli Established and developed the emergency management and response system at SEHA Head office and SEHA System 2009-2016, and developed the readiness index for the company identified as the first in the GCC region. He masterminded the establishment of the comprehensive quality system at SEHA head office in 2017-2018, He previously served as Director of Total Quality Management at the Armed Forces Hospitals of Saudi Arabia and Director of the Zoonosis Control Program at WHO – EMRO, in addition to a specific specialization in disaster management in Japan Dr. Karkoukli has diversified experience in the field of health management, systems development & integration, accreditation, capacity building, and has obtained specialized certificates including CBRNE medical response & counter measures, Business Continuity Lead Auditor, ISO Quality Management System Auditor. In addition as the lead of Field Medical Response team obtain and maintain professional international medical ATLS, PHTLS, AHLS, ACLS, and PALS.
