Karl Evans Henson

Karl Evans Henson, MD is a Filipino internist specializing in infectious diseases. He graduated cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at The Medical City. He then pursued a 2-year fellowship training in Infectious Diseases at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center, Michigan, USA. At present, Karl is a Clinical Associate Professor of the University of the Philippines Manila College of Medicine. He is also a regular member of the medical staff at The Medical City where he serves as Training Officer of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program, Chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, and Director of the Hospital Infection Control and Epidemiology Center. Karl is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians and the Philippine Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, where he sits as a member of the Board of Directors.
